"They make the best hero sandwiches for the best price anywhere, friendly and courteous staff, always a welcoming atmosphere! I especially like the salsalitto turkey. It still remains one of the best places to get a hero sandwich, I recommend the salsalito and honey turkey with lettuce, tomatoes and sauteed onions, my wife loves the pastrami with provolone cheese and sauteed onions all hot, and you'll get a sandwich where you don't feel you've been cheated(All bread,no fillings). The staff are always pleasant respectful, attentive to your order."

"Hidden gem in this crazy neighborhood. Mike and his store would be considered somewhat of a blessing to the community. Good, observant and family oriented people who will always show the kids love. My kid absolutely adores him and must walk into the store for conversation even when we don’t need anything. Never any complaints or negative vibes about the store. His store is THE ONLY store I will go to. You won’t get the same service in the surrounding deli’s."
